Mrs. Lurie’s Class Guest Artist: Herb Williams
This fabulous Self Portrait Sculpture is made of all recycled materials and was created and donated to Lockeland Design Center to help raise funds for our Art Department. It's value in an art gallery is $750.00. A reserve must first be met to win this piece of art.
Herb dreamed up a garden project created from all recycled materials! Parent’s donated license plates, blots, bottle caps, and other found metal objects to give them a new life as Ms. Lurie’s Kindergarten Self Portrait Sculptures. Every Fairy Garden needs a scarecrow just in case there are any gnomes or elves lurking around! Thank you to the parents who helped cut out the hands and feet and to Herb who had a riveting time securing all those parts together. Thank you also to Herb who is donating his famous “Obama” Lithograph for sale along with his own self portrait sculpture inspired by his work with your child.
